Dr. Bruce Fine: A Pioneer in Laser Gum Reattachment
Wayne Dentist, Dr. Bruce Fine has achieved the status of Fellowship from the “Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry” in California. This Fellowship relates to the use of a laser to eliminate gum disease, bad breath, bleeding gums and regeneration of lost bone via the LANAP procedure. LANAP stands for “Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure” and the laser can also diminish or even eliminate cold sores on the lip as well as treat canker sores. “Through the advancement of dental technology,” says Dr. Fine, “Dentistry is becoming more comfortable for patients, less painful and more effective. Fellowships are earned through extensive study of a particular field of dentistry.”
A Passion for Continuing Education
Dr. Fine is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Dentistry and has also earned Fellowships from “The Academy of General Dentistry” and the “International Congress of Oral Implantologists”. Known for his use of state-of-the-art technology and his compassionate care, Dr. Fine’s wide range of expertise is impressive: from fillings and crowns, to implants (including the “Teeth in a Day System”), bone regeneration, extractions, periodontal treatments, cosmetic services, “Bright Smile” and “Invisalign”.
His quest for continuing education has taken him as far as Spain to study the latest biotechnology and bone regeneration (PRGF), to South America to learn the latest innovation in implant techniques, to the west coast to study under John Chao (DDS) originator of the “Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation Technique”. This revolutionary patented procedure eliminates the problem of receding gums by moving the gum tissue, virtually pain-free without incisions or stitches. Dr. Fine has been interviewed by Dr. Jay Adlersberg of the Channel 7 News and Katie McGee of Channel 2 News for being the first dentist on the East Coast to perform the “Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation Technique.”
Taking Care of the Wayne, NJ Community
Dr. Fine also gives back to his community by sponsoring “Dentistry from the Heart” and “Give Kids a Smile” charity events in Wayne. “I just want to be the best I can in this vocation that I love so much,” says Dr. Fine.
