This treatment helps to prevent the progression of gum disease and promotes better oral health.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You may feel sensitivity to cold and heat for the first 24 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid eating hot foods or drinking hot beverages until the numbness from anesthesia fades.<\/li>\n<li>Refrain from engaging in vigorous physical activities and eating hot or spicy foods for the first 24 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Do not consume alcoholic beverages or smoke for at least 48 hours after your treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Normal bleeding may occur following a deep cleaning; however, if the bleeding is excessive, please <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.finedentalcare.com\/contact-us\/\">contact<\/a><\/strong> our office.<\/li>\n<li>Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen as needed, following the dosage instructions on the label or those provided by your doctor.<\/li>\n<li>To help with healing, rinse your mouth with warm salt water, about one teaspoon in an eight-ounce glass of water, three times a day.<\/li>\n<li>Brush and floss gently after your deep cleaning, and resume normal oral hygiene routines once the soreness subsides.<\/li>\n<li>Follow any additional instructions provided by our office during your visit.<\/li>\n<li>Take all prescribed medications as directed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\t<div id=\"col-128021500\" class=\"col medium-4 small-12
