Attractive Dental Crowns
At Fine Dental Care, we use our nearly 30 years of expertise and the latest advancements in dental techniques and technology to help you maintain the healthiest smile possible. We take great pride in the quality care that we provide to our patients, however, sometimes the best option for your oral health is a dental crown.
Dr. Bruce Fine recommends dental crowns for patients whose teeth…
- Have experienced a large, failed filling restoration
- Have been treated with a root canal
- Are severely decayed or damaged
- Have excessive, advanced wear
- Experience severe sensitivity
What Are Dental Crowns?
This restoration preserves your natural tooth, by covering it entirely above the gumline. It offers protection from external factors while distributing the force and pressure of your bite to prevent further damage.
Enjoy a natural, ceramic, full coverage restoration hand-crafted by a true artist. If damage to one of your front teeth requires a crown, many dentists will insist upon restoring both teeth due to the difficulty in successfully achieving a uniform appearance. Our own Picasso of dental restorations can so precisely match your existing teeth, that you’ll be unable to tell your natural tooth from your new, ceramic tooth.
Your Restoration Procedure
At your initial visit, your natural tooth will be prepared, an impression will be made for your restoration and a temporary tooth “cap” will be applied for your comfort. Once your customized restoration has been completed and color-matched to your smile, your permanent crown will be bonded into place. When your dental procedure is complete, you’ll enjoy speaking, chewing and biting as you did before.
